At NCDEX, 479 members 1,687 users participated in trading on July 8, 2008 up to 5:00 pm and volumes were Rs 2,435 crore (one-way). There were more than 61,457 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others Guar Seed, Rape Mustard Seed, Soyabean, Turmeric and Jeera. On July 7, 2008 481 members (303 users) participated in trading and put through more than 50,235 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 11.30 pm was Rs 1940 crore (one-way).
