At NCDEX, member 469 (1,736 users) participated in trading on August 7, 2008 up to 5:00 pm and volumes were Rs 2,501 crore (one-way). There were more than 70,144 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others Rape Mustard Seed, Soyabean, Guar Seed, Sugar and Turmeric. On August 6, 2008 492 member (262 users) participated in trading and put through more than 83,654 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 11.30 pm was Rs 3,028 crore (one-way).
