At NCDEX, 479 members (2,255 users) participated in trading on May 14, 2008 up to 5:00 pm and volumes were Rs 1,646 crore (one-way). There were more than 50,608 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others Guar Seed, Rape Mustard Seed, Turmeric, Pepper and Jeera. On May 15, 2008 490 members (2,285 users) participated in trading and put through more than 56,880 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 11.30 pm was Rs 1,992 crore (one-way).
