MRO-TEK Ltd, a leading provider of product-based solutions to access every network, today announced that, for the year ended 31^st March, 2008, the revenues stood at Rs. 139.5 crores with PBT at Rs. 21.5 crores & PAT at Rs 15.6 crores, compared to the revenues for the year ended 31^st March, 2007 which stood at Rs. 115.5 crores with PBT of Rs. 14.8 crores and PAT of 10.5 crores.

In India, we see a huge market evolving in the last mile broadband access segment with the internet moving into web 2.0 maturity. We see information, communication and entertainment flowing seamlessly in and out of households in the near future through our devices.” said Mr. Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, MRO-TEK Ltd.

“Higher revenue and profits during the year, provide us adequate scope for a final dividend of 40% (Re 2 per share), in addition to the Interim dividend of 20% (Re 1 per share) disbursed in February 2008, thereby aggregating to a total dividend of 60% for the year, amounting to Rs 3 per share (of face value Rs 5 each).” added Mr. Narayanan.

Highlights of Year (‘07-‘08)

• R&D activities have shown good progress. MRO-TEK introduced Last Mile Infrastructure Architecture for delivering ‘Triple Play’ service in India.
• MRO-TEK observed good traction for broad band internet access products
• The company collaborates with Foundry Networks USA for layer 2/3 switches
• MRO-TEK made shipments of  media converters  to NTT PC of Japan
