Deliveries for April 2008 contract

April contracts saw record deliveries to open interest ratio. Out of the 17 commodities delivered on the exchange, 16 commodities saw deliveries to open ratio of 100%. April contract had a delivery of 27284 MT and 16560 KGS (Mentha Oil) in Agricultural commodities. In metal contracts, exchange saw deliveries of 210 MT in Steel, 3948 KGS and 4900 Grams in Bullion. The Exchange saw deliveries in Barley contract (370 MT) which broke previous records. Deliveries to Open interest ratio for select commodities:
