Cals Ltd. (BSE Script 526652) which is currently traded in “Z” group would be transferred to “B” group w.e.f. Thursday, May 15, 2008 (Sett. No. DR-032/2008-2009) & SEBI Circular MRD/DoP/SE/Cir-04/08 dated 14/10/7.  The company has complied with the requirement as per SEBI circular.

The modalities for settlement of trades executed in the scrip of company that would be transferred out of “Z” group would be as follows:

1.   All trades executed in the scrip w.e.f. Thursday, May 15, 2008 (Sett. No. DR-032/2008-2009) would be in market lot of 1 equity share.

2. The scrip that are currently traded in “Z” group would be transferred to “B” group w.e.f. Thursday, May 15, 2008 (Sett. No. DR-032/2008-2009). The trades in such scrip would be required to be settled in demat form on netting basis. However, if the scrip were traded in the “Z” group for reasons other than non-signing of agreements with both the Depositories, then the scrip would continue to be traded in “Z” group and trades therein would be required to be settled on trade-to-trade basis but in demat form.

3.   The exit route scheme for small investors announced vide Notice No.1302/99 dated April 15, 1999 would also be available for the scrip that are transferred out of the ‘Z’ group.

4. Shortages in the scrip which would continue in “Z” as aforesaid would be directly closed-out. However, shortages in the scrip which would be transferred out of “Z” group to B” group as mentioned in para 2 above, would be auctioned and not directly closed-out w.e.f. Sett.No. DR-032/2008-2009.
