BSIL announces promotion of ATV to President & COO

Blue Star Infotech Ltd., global provider of IT solutions and services, today announced the promotion of Mr. A. T. Vijayakumar (ATV) to President and Chief Operating Officer of the company.

In his new role, Vijaykumar will report to BSIL's Chairman and MD, Suneel M. Advani and will be responsible for Global Delivery, Sales and Marketing functions of the company.

Vijaykumar has 30 years of experience in Sales & General Management, Offshore Software Engineering Management, and Outsourcing Pursuit Management. He has spent the last 9 years exclusively in Software Engineering Business Development & Offshore Software Development Centre Management, Strategic Outsourcing covering SW, IT & BPO, client and vendor management.

Prior to joining BSIL, Vijaykumar was with Hewlett Packard as Vice President,Worldwide Strategic Outsourcing SW, IT & BPO.
