Why is Usha Martin stock buzzing?

Usha Martin was buzzing all day today. Volumes were also above 2 lakh; this is versus 1.90 lakh which was the ten-day average. Why is this stock buzzing; is because of its alliance with world mining leader BHP Billiton. The company has formed 50:50 joint venture with BHP and they will be undertaking mining activities in Jharkhand. They are also expecting another coal mine in Jharkhand to operate from July 2008 onwards and they will start supplying from this unit in October onwards. The company expects a total of 1.5 million tonne of output from all its mines together for this financial year. |
