FIIs have sold close to about USD 7 billion since the beginning of the year; while USD 4.1 billion have come in the 2nd quarter of the calender year, i.e. March to June. Incidently, the Nifty has given a negative return of 18%. In the financial sector, the likes of Indiabulls Finance has lost about 2.4% of FII holdings over the last 3.5 months with returns at negative 40%. While IDFC has lost 2.7% of FII holdings and Reliance Capital has lost about 3.2%. Returns for both ranged between negative 20%-36%.
