AEGON Religare Life Insurance gets final approval from IRDA

AEGON Religare Life Insurance Company Limited, a joint venture between AEGON, one of the world’s largest life insurance and pension companies and Religare, one of India’s leading integrated financial services institutions, has received the final approval – R3 license, from the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (IRDA) to operate in the Life Insurance space. The R3 license from the IRDA is the last of the three steps in the registration process. Says Mr Rajiv Jamkhedkar, CEO, AEGON Religare Life Insurance, “We are pleased to have received the R3 license from the IRDA. Our plans for the nationwide launch are now ready for execution.
