Vetri Subramaniam joins Religare AEGON as Head of Equity

Religare AEGON Asset Management Company Private Limited, (Religare AEGON AMC), a joint venture between Religare and AEGON, has announced the appointment of Vetri Subramaniam as the Head of Equity. Based in Mumbai, Vetri will be responsible for managing the AMC’s equity portfolio.

Vetri has over 14 years of experience in the Indian equity markets. He joins Religare AEGON Asset Management from Motilal Oswal Securities where he was the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to Motilal Oswal, he was working as an Advisor to Boyer Allan Investment Management, UK where he was advising them on their investments in India and also helped them launch an India dedicated offshore fund. Vetri has also worked with Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company as Head of Equity Funds, Sharekhan.com as Chief Investment Advisor and SSKI Securities as Vice President – Equity Sales. Vetri holds a commerce degree and is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
