In the engineering space, it bought L&T, 18 lakh shares of Punj Lloyd and 5 lakh shares of Crompton Greaves. In the technology pack, it purchased 2 lakh shares of Satyam Computer Services. It also bought 3.40 lakh shares of Nagarjuna Construction, 1.60 lakh shares of HT Media, 1.51 lakh shares of Titan Industries and 1.50 lakh shares of ICICI Bank. Selling was seen in metal pack as it sold 3.93 lakh share of Tata Steel. In tobacco space, it sold 20.25 lakh shares of ITC. In pharma pack, it sold 7.75 lakh shares if Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals. ICICI Bank, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Divis Lab were the top stocks held by the scheme in June. Pharmaceuticals (19.02%), Banking (16.12%) and Engineering (15.14%) were the top invested sectors in the scheme's portfolio. (Check out - Top stocks held by HDFC Equity Fund). The equity exposure of the scheme has decreased from 98.51% to 97.93. The total assets managed by the scheme were of Rs 3,397.07 crore as on June 30, 2008.
