According to him, it looks like a global equity bear market due to high energy prices. The corporate sector has gained the most in past five years and the pain will also be felt most by corporate sector as there is risk in corporate earnings, he said. He feels that the policy reponse to the current situation is making the situation even worse. According to him, the retail investors are burnt so badly that they may not take part soon and a revival in retail participation for two-three years is not seen. More to come... |
