JP Sinha, Mangal Keshav Securities: The Left withdrawing support has ended the political uncertainty to some extent. The political situation is largely factored in by the market now. Valuations are attractive around 12-13x forward earnings but the macro situation continues to be a concern for the near-term. The Sensex is likely to consolidate between 12,000-14,000.

Karun Mutha, IL&FS Investsmart: There is overhang of short positions in Stock Futures and any move above 4200 will lead to short squeeze in the market. Put writing around 3800 suggests strong support at these levels. Watch out for stocks like Reliance Industries, RPL & L&T for long trades
