Devesh Kumar, Centrum Finance: The outcome of the trust vote will not have any long-term impact on the market as no major reform is likely before the elections. I expect only a short-term impact on sentiment. The upside for the Sensex is likely to be capped at 15,000 and the downside at 12,000 for the medium term. Investors with a 1-2 year horizon can buy selectively at current levels.

Hemant Thukral, Asian Markets Securities: Volatility has increased significantly in market. The Nifty may slip from 4200-4300 levels. Several traders have moved into Options market over past few days. Investors should not be aggressively long at present levels. Banking stocks may see some pressure going forward.
