Deepak Chhabria, Collins Stewart: The market may be close to an intermediate bottom but it is difficult to take a short-term call on the trend. FIIs have begun buying selectively but the quantum of flows is small. We may see more buying if inflation cools off after the base effect comes into play in August. Investors with one-year horizon can buy selectively at current levels. Karun Mutha, IL&FS Investsmart: The market sentiment remains weak. But the Nifty looks oversold as the Put-Call Ratio has fallen below 1. Any bounce back is likely to get sold into. |
