The current Bull Run proves the fact that Indian markets are the best and the fastest growing in the world for quite some now. The Sensex hit yet another milestone today and conquered the psychological level of 17,000. Most remarkable point of the ongoing Bull Run is that this journey of 1000 mark from 16K to 17K was covered in mere 6 trading days, the fastest ever in Indian equity market history and perhaps in world too.

It was really a spectacular journey of last 1000 points for the Sensex, which it crossed in just 6 days outperforming its global peers. Sensex has appreciated by over 8.5% since it first conquered the 16K level on 19th of Sep this year. On 18th it closed at 15669.12 and touched 16,000 on 19th morning and ended smartly way above 16K at 16322 on the same day. Continuing the momentum, it kissed the 17K mark on 26th Sep.

Other leading and rapidly growing markets in the world have lagged behind our own BSE Sensitive Index significantly. Only Hang Seng was little bit closer to it in terms of appreciation, which rose by nearly 7.34%, other wise the rest were far behind. Some other indices, which have performed well, are Jakarta Composite, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted that have grown by 5.10, 4.39 and 4.02 percentage respectively. Table below shows the gains of some leading global markets.
