Realty stks down 70% to 35% from their 52-wk highs

Realty sectors have taken worst hit in today�s market. The Realty Index was down by 11%. Realty stocks are very volatile and they go down significantly in falling market. The stocks ended with deep cut. Realty major have not only fallen in today�s market but are significantly off their 52 week highs. The stocks are down anywhere between 36% to 73%. Ansal Infra was down by 73% from its 52week high. Among the other losers were DLF, HDIL, Omaxe Ltd, Prasvnath.

The realty sector was slaughtered today. The stocks were down almost between 15% to 2%. Among the top laggards are DLF which was down by 15%, followed by Indiabulls Real Estate, HDIL which were down by 13%. Sobha Developers was the one stock which shown relative strength and was just down 1.5%.
