Foreign financial firms continue selling or transferring their shares via bulk deals in India. Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company and Morgan Stanley Investments Mauritius sold over Rs 80 crore worth of shares via five bulk deals on September 25, 2008. It sold shares of Aftek, Entertainment Network, HTMT Global and LIC Housing Finance.
Grants Investment (an investment arm of Goldman Sachs) has transferred over Rs 40.6 crore worth of shares to CLSA (Mauritius) via bulk deal. It sold shares of Country Club, West Coast Paper, Fame India, MSK Projects and Murli.
Macquarie Bank has reduced its exposure in Shree Renuka Sugars and Balrampur Chini. It sold around Rs 39 crore worth of shares.
