Indian equity markets have seen an excellent run-up in the last ten days. On September 19, 2007, BSE Sensex was at 16000 mark and on September 26, 2007 it crossed the 17,000 mark for the first time, creating a record of the fastest 1000 point gain in just five trading sessions.
In this bull run, most of the stocks have given good gains to their investors. But, Moneycontrol researched data shows even though the markets are on a peak some of the investors are still under losses.
Amongst the stocks listed on the BSE 500, SSI is a topper in the list of stocks that have given negative return between September 19 and October 04, 2007). The stock price of SSI fell by 20.21%. This was followed by NIIT and Triveni Engineering which fell by 19% each.
