The laggard textile stocks have spurted and are hogging the limelight since the past few trading sessions. In the last three days if investors had invested in select textile stocks then they would have earned good returns. The textile sector has been underperforming for a some time, one of the reasons being rupee's sharp appreciation against the dollar as to large extent Indian yarn exporters are dependant on US markets. Moneycontrol has come out with a list of textile companies that have given remarkable returns in the last three days. From December 9 to December 11, stocks like Siyaram Silk was up over 40%, Seasons Textile, Abhishek Ind, GTN Textiles and GTN Industries were up over 30%.
