Global meltdown pushed Indian markets towards free fall. The Sensex after touching 21000 sometime back, lost more than 5000 points in a week's time.  Sensex and Nifty stocks are 30-50% away from their highs. Number of stocks from A group also touched new 52-week lows.

ACC has crossed its earlier 52-week high of Rs 680 and touched a new of Rs 621, Bajaj Auto at Rs 1800.95.

India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki has hit a low of Rs 700, Tata Motors is around Rs 540 and Wipro around Rs 400.
