Markets are totally under a bear grip as it continues to break its psychological levels very quickly. Today, the Sensex closed below the April 2007 low. In this steep fall, 423 stocks have touched their 52-week low. This includes ‘A’ group stocks like ACC, Ambuja Cements, BEML, Bharat Electricals, BPCL, Deccan Aviation, Dish TV India, DLF, Gammon India, Grasim and HPCL.
 
Institutional investors sold out some of their exposures in today's session. Nifty futures discount widened to 80 points, which added 33 lakh shares in open interest. More than 64% of F&O stocks have negative cost of carry.

Left parties have threatened the UPA government to withdraw their support if the government goes ahead with nuclear deal. If this threat is carried out, there will be a call for early elections in India. All this factors are likely to result to a further fall in the markets.
