Wall Street ends with moderate gain; Dow up 52 pts

US markets bounced back from the prior session's slide, led by techs and materials. Technology shares rebounded with Intel and Apple posting gains of over a percent. Alcoa was the top gainer where as financials like Bank of America, UBS and Morgan Stanley skid. In economic news, initial jobless claims fell by 18,000 to 365,000 last week. Wholesale inventories fell by 0.1% in March, the first drop since December 2006, while sales jumped 1.6%. The Dow rose 52.43 points, or 0.41%, to 12,866.78. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 5.11 points, or 0.37%, to 1,397.68, and the Nasdaq composite index rose 12.75 points, or 0.52%, to 2,451.24. A look at how the Indian ADRs performed:
