US markets finished mostly higher following a choppy trading day. Weakness in tech companies and the financials thwarted a more substantial rally. Lehman Brothers led the fall in financials after the venerable investment bank said it will raise $ 6 billion in new capital. The company announced that it will report a $ 2.77 billion second-quarter loss. The tech barometer was lower as Apple dropped more than 2% to kick off its annual developers' conference and CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the iphone's second generation. In US economic news, April pending home sales unexpectedly rose 6.3%. The crude prices slipped more than USD 4 to settle at USD 134.35 a barrel on the Nymex. The Dow advanced 70.51 points, or 0.58%, to 12,280.32. The Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 1.08 points, or 0.08%, to 1,361.76, while the Nasdaq composite index was down 15.10 points, or 0.61%, to 2,459.46. A look at how the Indian ADRs performed:
