Nifty futures shed 15 lakh shares in OI

CNBC-TV18's Head-Markets Research, Anuj Singhal: Nifty Open Interest PCR increased at 1.22 versus 1.12. Nifty 4700 Put added 2.5 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 4600 Put added 2.3 lakh shares in Open Interest.

Nifty 4800 Put added 2 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty 5000 Call shed 2.8 lakh shares in Open Interest. Net buyers were worth Rs 292 crore in Nifty futures. Nifty futures shed 15 lakh shares in Open Interest and ended at 3-point premium.               

Reliance Petroleum was top traded stock with futures OI up 7%. Stock was up 2.5%. The cost of carry, CoC was up and  fresh long positions were seen.

Orchid was up 15.7% with delivery volume at 9%. Futures Open Interest was up 12% and speculative long positions were seen.

HOEC was up 12%, The CoC was up with futures Open Interest up 15%. Fresh long positions were seen.

Yes Bank was down 1.4%. Futures Open Int went up 42% and shorts seen ahead of results, which is on April 9.
