Nifty 4000, 3900, 3800 Puts shed huge OI

FIIs net sold Rs 2,268 crore in Nifty futures with OI up by 13,159 contracts. Nifty Futures at 32 pts discount, added 14.6 lakh shares in Open Interest. Nifty Open Interest PCR was at 1.01 versus 1.22. Nifty Puts shed 33.8 lakh; Calls added 28.3 lakh shares in OI. Nifty 4000, 3900, 3800 Puts shed huge Open Interest. Bank Nifty added 20% in OI Ranbaxy was down 14% with CoC down. Futures Open Interest was up 15%. NSE delivery volume at 1 crore (41%) ICICI Bank was down 8.5% with CoC down. Futures Open Interest was up 5.5%. NSE delivery volume at 35 lakh (47%) NTPC was down 2.7% with futures down 4.3%. Futures Open Interest was up 8%. Futures were at 4-point discount. Chambal Fertiliser was down 10% with CoC down. Futures Open Interest was up 10%. Fresh short positions were seen. RNRL was down 5% with CoC down. Futures Open Interest down 5.5%.
