The Foreign Institutional Investors or FIIs continue to sell equity in the Indian markets. Sebi data shows FIIs sold equity worth USD 352 million dollars on June 5. That's the highest single-day selling since January this year.

With this, FIIs have sold stock worth over USD 2 billion dollars since the 20th of may. This makes it the worst fortnight for the Indian markets in terms of dollar outflows. So far this year, FIIs have sold to the tune of nearly 4.5 billion dollars.
