High inflation would kill medium-term growth: Montek Singh

Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, said high inflation would kill medium-term growth, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting Newswire18. "The government is not sacrificing growth to tame inflation. It needs to revise Wholesale Price Index, and Industrial Index of Productivity indices. I won't be surprised if FY09 growth come in at 8%," he added.
