The government issues notification on export duty on steel, basmati rice, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting Newswire18. It has imposed an export duty of 15% on pig iron, cold rolled products.
Meanwhile, steel companies said they are 'shocked' at the export duty notification, and are seeking a rollback.
