SBI Chairman OP Bhatt expects some monetary tightening in RBI's July policy review. He does not expect more than 25 bps hike, if there is one. He said that he would decide on interest rate hikes after the RBI policy review.

Bhatt sees some slowdown in commercial real estate and the auto sector. He said growth was hit but not badly on hardening interest rates. He stated that the SBI-SBS merger is expected to be smooth.
