The crucial Left-UPA nuclear panel meeting is currently on in the capital and it looks like the Left will finally relent, reports CNBC-TV18.

The Left parties are expected to give a partial concession to the government by agreeing to let the talks with the IAEA begin while holding the power to veto the draft text of the safeguards agreement. But the Left's stand on operationalisation of the Indo- US nuclear deal remains largely unchanged. Left sources say this is not the last meeting of the panel and that it will continue to hold talks till next month.
