Geo TV was blacked out in Pakistan after it refused to follow the stringent rules imposed on the media in the wake of the emergency. Following the blackout, it had shifted all its main operations to Dubai, and was being telecast from there. The Geo TV management says they were surprised when the orders to close down came. |
