Pranab Mukherjee, External Affairs Minister, said, “Various Political parties have expressed their views inside parliament outside parliament; it’s known. But, just to claim that, yes in the speeches the members have expressed their views, but the issue was not framed before the members as per the Parliamentary practice (of seeking a vote), because there was no scope of ascertaining the views and opinions of the house on the discussion, because the discussion took place under a rule in which this is not required and this is not relevant.” |
