Mukherjee assured President Bush and other top officials including Condeleeza Rice that the UPA government is confident about finalizing the India-US nuclear agreement. The minister is on a two-day high-level bilateral visit to the US. He kicked off his visit with a brief meeting with Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice. After meeting the US President, Mukherjee had another session with Rice where the two discussed the nuclear agreement in detail. |
