Taxi drivers in Mumbai have decided to start plying again, after assurances from the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Flash strike was triggered by fresh attacks by Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena or MNS.

After days of violence and attacks on North Indians, MNS workers hit the streets again today and vandalised the Taximen Union Office. Nearly 55 thousand taxis ply on Mumbai's roads.
