Tata Chemicals said it is raising USD 850 million in debt to finance its USD 1 billion buy of US-based soda ash maker General Chemicals through term financing route of USD 500 million and bridge financing of USD 350 million bringing the total to 850 million, reports CNBC-TV18. Homi Khusrokhan, Managing Director, Tata Chemicals, said the acquisition would add USD 400 million to the company's topline. "The company's EBIDTA will grow by USD 121 million by FY09."
