Sterlite has got bid protection for the Asarco acquisition pact. There is a USD 52 million break-up clause in Asarco bid protection.

 

The Sterlite Industries and Asarco Unions have agreed on collective bargaining terms, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting Newswire18. The pact would be effective post-Asarco buy.
