Steel majors to hike prices based on demand

Steel majors, Tata Steel and JSW Steel said it has not been asked by the government to extend price freeze yet. Tata Steel will take a call on hiking prices based on demand whereas JSW will take independent call closer to expiry of deadline. JSW also said that there are tremendous cost pressures, evaluating options.
