RIL-RNRL gas agreement case adjourned to July 31

It was day four of the RIL-RNRL gas dispute case in the Bombay High Court today. The case has been adjourned to next Thursday. The daily hearing format has been sidelined. The bench has accepted RIL counsel’s request and the RNRL counsel did not oppose the date.
RIL said the government is a principal stakeholder in the case and the lease for the basin is till 2025. RIL cannot sell gas below the government-approved price. RIL added that the gas is government property till it reaches delivery point and RIL never agreed to RNRL’s trading in gas. |
