By Ashwin Mohan, CNBC-TV18
Sources said the government plans to file a rejoinder in the KG Basin case in the next few days. The rejoinder is in response to Reliance Natural Resources' objection to government intervention and states that the government disagrees with the 2004 price.
The government said the intervention is in public interest. It is concerned with speedy production, cost and profit share of gas. The government expects gas production to start from July 2008. Its intervention is due to legal delays.
