Reliance Energy relieved, SC stays bidding for expressway

In a relief to Anil Ambani-led Reliance Energy, the Supreme Court today extended the stay on the bidding process for the country's longest sea link expressway connecting the east coast of Mumbai with the mainland, reports CNBC-TV18.  The stay restrains the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, or MSRDC, from opening bids for the Rs 2,600 crore project. Reliance was disqualified by MSRDC on financial criteria. |
