Not aware of any US Congress probe: Ranbaxy

Ranbaxy said it is not aware of any Congressional Committee inquiry. "We have not received any communication regarding a US Congress probe."
According to the report Rep John Dingell, Committee Chmn said, “"If these allegations are true, Ranbaxy has imperiled the safety of Americans in a manner similar to the generic drug scandal we uncovered twenty years ago, I would like to know whether FDA officials knew about these allegations and what, if any, action was taken." FDA has declined to comment, and says the case is a subject of open Fed probe.
