If you think the city you live in is getting a little too expensive, you are not the only one. According to a global survey by Mercer, Indian cities are shooting up on the cost of living index. In fact, Mumbai is among the top 50 most expensive cities in the world. Mumbai is among the top 50 most expensive cities in the world. It has moved up four places to land on the 48 spot. The key reason attributed to this is the strengthening of the Indian rupee against the US dollar.
