  • Japanese economy expanded 3.3% in last quarter (Jan-Mar), faster than estimated, buyed by exports to Asia.
  • US industrial production fell 0.7% in April as consumer slow down in cars and appliances forced corporates to cut production
    that reached lowest since Sep '05.
  • Asian markets are trading mildly positive. Nikkei, Hang Seng, Kospi, Taiwan and STI are trading up 0.2%, 0.6%, 0.3%, 0.9% and
    0.9% respectively, while Shanghai down 0.1%.
