Asian markets were trading higher. Japan's Nikkei gained 1.75% or 220 points at 12,824.58.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 1.13% or 257.01 points at 22,921.23.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted added 0.28% or 24.31 points at 8,630.26.
Singapore's Straits Times advanced 0.75% or 22.79 points at 3,047.99.
South Korea's Seoul Composite surged 1.32% or 22.1 points at 1,698.34.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted added 0.345 or 29.22 points at 8,635.17.
Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.205 or 6.04 points at 3,031.24.
South Korea's Seoul Composite advanced 1.07% or 17.89 points at 1,694.13.
However, Japan's Nikkei was flat at 12,597.50.
