Asian markets were ended lower. Japan's Nikkei dropped 2.32% or 322.49 points at 13,603.02. 

Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.06% or 260.02 points at 24,331.67. 

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.58% or 49.32 points at 8,412.76. 

Singapore's Straits Times was down 1.55% or 47.70 points at  3,026.45.    

South Korea's Seoul Composite plunged 1.41% or 24.55 points at 1,711.62.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.57% or 384.89 points at 24,206.80.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.26% or 21.79 points at 8,440.29.

Singapore's Straits Times was down 1.66% or 50.90 points at  3,023.25.

South Korea's Seoul Composite plunged 1.22% or 21.14 points at 1,715.03.
