Asian markets ended mixed. China's Shanghai Composite gained 3.49% or 93.59 points at 2,778.37. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.64% or 139.47 points at 21,874.19. However, Japan's Nikkei fell 0.65% or 84.25 points at 12,803.70. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted tumbled 2.28% or 159.19 points at 6,815.32. Singapore's Straits Times plunged 0.57% or 16.37 points at 2,847.73. South Korea's Seoul Composite lost 1.02% or 15.57 points at 1,509.99. Asian markets @ 10:15am Asian markets trading lower Asian markets were trading lower. Japan's Nikkei slipped 0.45% or 57.89 points at 12,830.06. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted declined 1.64% or 114.53 points at 6,859.98. Singapore's Straits Times fell 1.01% or 29.04 points at 2,835.06. South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.99% or 15.16 points at 1,510.40. However, China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.28% or 7.47 points at 2,692.25. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 21,714.10.
