Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted plunged 1.85% or 162.07 points at 8,605.95.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.20% or 3.43 points at 1,676.24.
However, Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.21% or 47.21 points at 22,664.22.
Singapore's Straits Times advanced 1% or 29.98 points at 3,025.20.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 1.36% or 307.10 points at 22,309.91.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted declined 1.94% or 170.24 points at 8,597.78.
Singapore's Straits Times plunged 1.07% or 31.92 points at 2,963.30.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 1.11% or 18.60 points at 1,661.07.
