Asian markets end marginally lower

Asian markets ended marginally lower. China's Shanghai Composite slipped by 0.11% or 3.16 points at 2,853.94.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.55% or 43.26 points at 7,811.80.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.01% or 0.37 points at 1,717.66.

Japan's Nikkei was down 0.05% or 7.60 points at 13,822.32.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng declined 0.79% or 179.49 points at 22,455.67.

Singapore's Straits Times lost 0.19% or 5.67 points at 2,980.95.

Asian markets trading mixed

After a sharp fall Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite slipped 1.76% or 51.03 points at 2,853.94.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.55% or 43.26 points at 7,811.80.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.02% or 0.37 points at 1,717.42.

However, Japan's Nikkei was up 0.15% or 20.59 points at 13,850.51.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.43% or 97.93 points at 22,733.09.

Singapore's Straits Times gained 0.73% or 21.80 points at 3,008.42.

Asian markets trading higher

Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite surged 0.78% or 22.52 points at 2,927.53.

Japan's Nikkei advanced 0.43% or 59.43 points at 13,889.35.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.71% or 160.72 points at 22,795.88.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted gained 0.31% or 24.29 points at 7,879.35.

Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.62% or 18.50 pointsat 3,005.12.

South Korea's Seoul Composite shot up 0.85% or 14.53 points at 1,732.32.
